Bromwich left his firm to assist here because there were partners who opposed that decision. Kudos to him for doing the right thing, for providing competent representation on a pro bono basis (along with Ms. Katz et al) in the time honored tradition of the American bar.
Rachel Mitchell, prosecutor for Judiciary Republicans, is zeroing in on how Dr. Blasey chose her legal team and who is paying for them, a question she struggles to answer. Bromwich interjects: "We are not being paid. We have no expectation of being paid."
