Correction: she is a research PSYCHOLOGIST. Point is, she knows from brain function and memory.
Point is also that is this is how you would expect an expert to testify about something personal that relates to their field. If this were rehearsed and a lie, they’d have coached her not to use those terms. Her testimony is undoubtedly the truth.
The prosecutor is approaching it as she would a hostile deposition...even the preamble she did was classic deposition stuff. Questions that are designed to sound friendly but aren’t, eg “have you told us everything you know” question.
she is speaking from how she processes such experiences which is how her life training has encoded those experiences simply cannot start speaking from a lay person's way of expressing their life
