Berkeley Heights, N.J.— 2 60ish ladies lunching & discussing Kavanaugh allegations: “I think it’s ridiculous that they’re taking about 36 years ago. He was 17. He was young. ... If it was a significant thing — I mean, look, we all did things. We were in high school.”

Women. Just like any other disenfranchised, disempowered and victimized group of people, internalize and rationalize what they have to, in order to survive. Psychology 101.

Hey yeah I remember that too!! The root of "womens intuition," actually victims adaptation 2 survive.

I agree on that. I reject the notion that something is too long ago to matter, or shouldn’t matter if it happened as a teenager. I just don’t think it happened. Number one reason? NOT ONE additional victim has come forward. This kind of crappy conduct doesn’t happen just once.

There is a HUGE and significant difference btwn generations and their perspective - I've spoken about this topic w/ my parents (70's) and daughters (teens') and it's sometime hard to believe we're all the same family (pretty close one too).
