Considering how reports like that are sometimes received, it is not surprising.

Think a new poll is warranted: if you (sex indiscriminate) were a victim of sexual harrassment and/or assault AND opted not to report it, would you feel justified, not having ANY evidence, to come forward with your claim many years later?

Some of them would if the DNC paid them and they were rabid liberals

The real question is what is their perception of misconduct. This is becoming way out of hand. People do stupid things when young & make stupid mistakes. That is called growing up. I do not advocate anything bad. I have a daughter. Sometimes this is just stupid kids stuff.

Perhaps the example made by people like Bill Clinton, Harvey , Matt Luaer, and Hollywood, etc. cause victims to question the benefit of reporting. Also, I don't have a lot of faith in a Walpo poll that conveniently backs the idea that it's not unusual to wait 36 years to report
