Also the kind of reporter who treats absolutely unreasonable claims as reasonable then? Gotcha. Thanks.
So no follow-ups are appropriate when the president of the United States makes an unreasonable claim? Ok, I think I get the rules now.
Trump is right about one thing--Sessions should absolutely investigate this incident. He can start by interviewing, one-by-one, the entire West Wing staff to see if they are aware of any such nefarious activity...and whether it was justified by the President's mental instability.
2 separate issues: 1 - Somebody is speaking out of school, and the NYT published it. Not "treason". 2 - Trump's staff apparently collude in running the gov't in defiance of his instructions. This actually is unconstitutional.
I'm with Elizabeth Warren here. Either he's unfit, and you invoke 25 and remove him, or he's not, and you stop this crap and do what he says. I lean toward the former, but either way this twilight zone stuff is BS and it needs to stop now.
Shoutout to all the "We already know, so don't ask" responders who definitely know a lot about journalism.
They should do better, then: “Do you intend” is a better opening than “Should,” which presumes that the premise is at least arguable.
