what is cruel is the parents, knowing full well the circumstances when caught, will blame the government for upholding the established policies for the damages heaped upon the children rather then themselves for putting the children at risk!

Why spend time situating this historically when we should just spread awareness of how horrible it is? This type of analysis intellectualizes for entertainment and loses sight of what's important.

I'm a veteran and I believe that a country as strong as ours could try to address the crisis of homelessness while also not creating child internment camps. There isn't really a choice here.

Hey Julie, we know the symptoms. How about an article tracking the reasons we’re in this crisis? There has been an inability or refusal of many Congresses to pass true immigration legislation that handles Dreamers, asylum-seekers and illegals fairly, thoughtfully and promptly.
