I’m not weighing in here on what Trump *should* do, I am saying his argument that he is powerless to stop a practice he says he hates is disingenuous bc he has the authority to change it

That’s why I said “generally speaking.” It was a broader comment on media, not a personal one. I chiefly follow solid reporters in my news column. You’ve always seemed to be one. Acosta lobbied for the position from Trump yesterday.

Also my preference is to get away from this law by POTUS w each admin making it up as they go, to firm law by legislation as was the Founder’s intent.
