Honestly mystified by Trump critics who take out their anger about his rhetoric & behavior on @maggieNYT. She is the hardest-working, best-sourced journalist covering this president & has done more to document what he is actually doing than almost anyone.

3) I’m glad she’s hard-working; there’s a lot to cover. And with a lot going on, she’s bound to miss a shot here and there. It would do her (and you) well to acknowledge when that happens.
& the reason I point out she’s hard-working is that I think much of this criticism stems from a belief that she’s some lazy access journalist trading access for plum pieces. I work w this woman. It is just not like that.
