Gary Leif was a great representative for his community, with this new navigation center in Roseburg being a prime example. This session, we will step up again to give communities the resources they need to build on this work and end this crisis. #orleg

There are more than 20 cars off the road on that stretch right now. We can’t stress enough how important it is that people stay home.

Stay home and off the road if at all possible tonight. Our crews are seeing a lot of crashes and dangerous conditions across Lane County right now.
Although Lane County and other agencies have applied deicer and sand, it is not enough to combat the freezing rain and ice.

The current lack of affordable child care and housing imposes a large financial burden on families and limits the potential of our economy. We can take a step toward addressing both issues by co-locating child care with affordable housing developments.

My mom grew up picking cotton in the 1950s. Yesterday, she waited in line to once again pick her son to represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate. We’ve come a long way, but the work isn’t done!
Please vote, Georgia 🗳

Oregon is the latest state to pardon all prior offenses of simple marijuana possession, following my pardon of federal offenses and call to Governors to do the same in their states.
It's time to right our failed approach to marijuana. I urge states to follow Oregon's example.

No one deserves to be saddled with the impacts of a simple possession of marijuana conviction—a crime that is no longer on the books in Oregon. I am pardoning these prior Oregon offenses, an act that will impact an estimated 45,000 individuals. oregon.gov/newsroom/Pages

The urban study called “Homelessness is a Housing Problem” found that the biggest factors in the homeless crisis are not necessarily addiction or mental health but rather a combination of high rent prices and a lack of affordable housing.

It's pretty wild how, as Majority Leader, I put so much emphasis on making sure are laser focused on the issues that matter most to Oregonians — homelessness, the cost of living, good schools, etc. And national Republicans just... truly don't care about any of that?
