Partly I'm sure, but it's also the media's bullshit attempt at being "balanced". For a long time lies were based around subtle misrepresentations making it easy for media to 'play one side says this, one side says that, can't say who's right'.

Thank you for saying it. It’s so frustrating sitting on the outside and seeing the ludicrous media coverage. The focus is on how Impeachment may hurt purple district Dems. What about purple district Republicans? They are taking a risky vote also but no focus at all on them

Tell me about it! That's all I hear, is about all the damage impeachment will do to the Dems and how it may cost them close races. Not the damage it may do to Republicans to go down with this sinking ship of a president. Apparently that choice isn't high-risk at all!
