    Saving the world for the same relative amount that us Americans are already tipping on our dinners is a pretty good deal actually. We should really consider it

    Some back-of-the-envelope calculations: Putting the world on course to appropriately address the climate emergency would require 20% of global GDP over the next 10 years. In the US, only Bernie Sanders’ climate plan is on this scale.

    I am so scared about Google Voice. Has anyone ever ported a phone number out? Does it work?

    I propose we rename Google messaging services with the year of release, just like a copy of Madden or FIFA. The provides for easier tracking and better communicates the ~yearly lifecycle of these apps.

    Do-ocracies are a good idea, in theory. But has anyone looked at it from a perspective of a marginalized person? Surely “Just [have the confidence] to do it” isn't a great system
