It's important to note that these improvements may not be permanent.
Without federal and state actions to maintain the enhanced Marketplace subsidies and limit coverage losses when the continuous coverage requirement expires, children’s uninsurance could once again increase.

It seems like pandemic-era policies like the Medicaid continuous coverage requirement and more generous ACA marketplace subsidies have protected children's insurance coverage through the end of 2021.
Both survey and administrative data suggest public coverage increases.
