Don’t apologize because you offended irrational people who don’t understand context.

-
What was irrational about the response she received?
-
Bald white man says it is rational therefor
-
That checks out.
-
Oh, we can't have a debate about what happened without making it racial? Also, I make being bald look good.
-
What happened was "racial".
-
I'm sure you are a nice guy, and you have a beautiful daughter. But the minute you dismiss anyone because of their race you've become what you claim to hate. So have a nice day.
-
I neither mentioned your race nor dismissed you. Maybe you are projecting.

That's cool, thank you, but I'm still looking at that casual selfie of you and Richard Spencer's. That seems like something that should be addressed sooner rather than later
-
I took a selfie with an avowed Marxist. I’m not a Marxist. Stop with the guilt by association smear.
-
Uh, yeah buddy, Marxism is a little different from white nationalism. You know, one of them is wanting to remove all non-white people from a particular country. That's not a comparable instance at all, come on
-
It’s you’ve smear by association I object to. FYI Communism racked up a super high body count too but no one has accused me of liquidate kulaks.
-
... But you do understand why posing with white nationalists is bad, right? You get the difference between posing with the prescient of DSA and, like, David Duke right? You can't seriously tell me you don't
-
Julia’s words and deeds make clear her white nationalists sympathies. The selfie is merely conformation.
-
But I'm still hung up on your false equivalence dude. Do you really not see the difference? I'm legitimately concerned
-
Why don’t you find some actually bad people to drag? Or go with selfie with racist proves you’re a racist too.

You weren't defending racism. Your meaning wasn't lost on rational observers. It was a perfectly human sentiment, and you did not deserve the response you received, which was more performance art than disagreement.
-
In scrolling through your twitter I don't think your endorsement and defense will do much to quell the backlash against her. If anything it'll have people go "Oh, yeah, of course *he* would"
-
Because you some that research. Here is a tweet & pic showing Julia truth.pic.twitter.com/RexmOlXy3s
-
If we are being accurate you are taking two different points in time, both of which are out of context, and conflating them. Her tweet, if you researched it, was part of a long string of questions she was getting from a Russian kid, which she noted should have been in quotes.1/
-
As to the picture with Spencer, which happened over 6 years later, is misleading because the picture doesn't give context as to where they were at, who they were with, etc. If she was in some way trying to hide it or mislead people, why are both instances still up?
-
Spencer posted the pic of her because she poses for his selfie voluntarily. She can't take down someone else's photo, but she can plug her ears and ignore folks asking her about it (like she's doing now)
-
Actually she explained it shortly after he posted it, which she just mentioned, again. Also important to look at her response to his post. This photo is good to advance a biased narrative against her but lacks context.
-
This explanation is what I specifically asked for in my post. So say that is to ignore her enabling a racist narrative by calling someone threatening ICE a "disagreement." That proceeded this, and feeds to a pattern. I'm ball she apologized after realizing the first mistake--
