(For the record, I always say "Thank you. You, too." But the omnipresence of Christmas for a whole month is deeply wearying and alienating to some of us who do not celebrate. If you want me respect you, please respect me, too.)

I bet you hate it when someone tells you to, have a nice weekend or have a good 4th of July. Personally, I really hate it when someone tells me to have a great Labor Day weekend. That really chaps my ass. Don’t even get me started on pie day. If someone mentions it, I go postal.
