I saw someone share this stat earlier (54% of women offered interviews if names aren't on resumes -> 5% if they are) & was instantly suspicious too. An effect size that big is just implausible. @clairlemon (who is fantastic!) applauding Noah-someone for tweeting a correction that it's sad we have to congratulate people telling the truth. Especially when they are SMEs in any way. It should be the expected norm. Not doing so should be instant loss of cred. -
To shift to a new norm, you have to reward the people who voluntarily follow that norm even though it isn't yet "required" of them, socially
