A worthy leader is more concerned with getting it right every time than being right all the time

I don’t understand why Democratic lawmakers are not out there bringing more attention to this. We need to put Republicans on defense about it. This is serious. We need to demand his health records. We need to start accusing admin officials of hiding his condition.

A geriatrician friend watched the video of Trump waving hello, fidgeting, moving his chair and conducting during the National Anthem. Said three words: "Onset of dementia."

Remember that interview on Sunday in which Jared Kushner told that some people just don't have what it takes to work in the White House? Well, he also violated the Hatch Act during the interview. So we filed a Hatch Act complaint today.

The SNAFU with the results highlights the need for paper ballots, especially in the 2020 election. Can you imagine the dozens of ways our votes can be hacked or messed with to keep trump in office? PAPER BALLOTS NOW.

"They gave you a remedy and they meant for you to use it. They gave you an oath and they meant for you to observe it. We have proven Donald Trump guilty. Now do impartial justice AND CONVICT HIM." - Goddamn it he tried. 😭

Rand Paul read his question — that Roberts declined to read — on the floor of the Senate, standing next to a sign with the alleged whistleblower’s name on it. On live television. He should be arrested and removed from the Senate. And his neighbor should get a second round.

It’s not often that you can put a price on a conflict of interest, but maybe in this case we can...and it looks like it could be in the billions

    1. AG Barr used to work at Kirkland Ellis 2. Kirkland Ellis represents Goldman Sachs in one of the biggest scams ever 3. AG Barr got a waiver and "immersed himself" in the case 4. Now Goldman is poised to get off with a fine BILLIONS less than predicted

We have impeachment for a reason: For a man who would sell out his country for a political favor, Who would threaten the integrity of our elections, Who would invite foreign interference in our affairs, Who would undermine our national security, For a man like Donald Trump.

Yes, I had the privilege of working with her for 2 yrs. She would have appointed multiple independent counsels by now. She paid full price at car dealer b/c she was worried someone would think she got a special deal-even tho no one pays full price. Trump is literally her opposite

If we fail to hold this president accountable, it sends a terrible message to the nation: that one can get away with abuse of power, obstruction, cheating, and spreading false narratives—if you simply know the right people. I reject that. We are a nation of laws.

Senators acknowledge the House Democratic managers have essentially proven their case. But key Republicans have decided the president’s actions do not warrant the dramatic political upheaval of conviction and removal from office.

I’m shocked to see MSNBC talking about Democratic Socialism. Either way, they nailed it! This is all thanks to , , and for organizing from the bottom up. Now it’s time for a Dem Socialist in the White House!

Alas, is wrong start to finish. Senate now is being asked to remove Trump from office. It’d take a second, separate, vote to disqualify him from running again in 2020. The Constitution is explicit. And this view would mean POTUS can cheat on reelection w/no conseq

FACT: Mike Bloomberg spent $12,000,000 to re-elect a Senate Republican (Toomey) in 2016. Toomey beat the Dem (McGinty) by 1.5pts. If McGinty had won, Ds would have controlled the Senate after Doug Jones won & could have blocked Kavanaugh from the Sup Court

If Chuck Schumer has the right to put forward amendments, and if the Senate has to debate those amendments, why couldn't he put forward 3 amendments to force the recusal of those 3 GOP jurors who are witnesses in the case? In argument, the managers could establish their conflict.
