Hello Bouy 41009 of the National Bouy Center. As of this last hour, wind speeds of 21.4 km gusting to 27.2 km have occurred. This results in 8.5 ft waves with a wave period of 9 seconds. This may be great for surfing but not so much for recovering a Crew Dragon capsule. #IFApic.twitter.com/I08S5OHdHX

Yeah, Imagine a wave as high as your ceiling or higher coming at the recovery crew every 9 seconds. Loading or offloading onto rigs or vessels gets dangerous real quik as seas increase. Dragon bashing the recovery ship repeatedly is no bueno. Hoping seas diminish.
