Fetuses are not human beings (yet). Pregnant women, on the other hand, are fully grown human beings, with their own souls, histories, families. The priority here should be bloody obvious.

Only far-left extremists think a eight or nine months pregnancy is "just a fetus". Normal people just say what it is, a baby.

Literally no one is promoting abortions at 8 or 9 months of gestation unless the baby will experience nothing but unrelenting pain after birth (caused by extremely rare birth defects).

Ive talked to loads of people on twitter who support late term abortions. When do you think a womans right to choose should end?

I don’t think it should end, it’s between her and her doctor. You act like women are just these amoral monsters who want to murder a tiny baby, it’s absolutely ridiculous. If a woman wants to end the pregnancy there is a damn good reason, but it’s still not your business.

If you are truly concerned, the best way to reduce abortion’s would be to remove the barriers for the women (if it’s not medical). Free birth control so unwanted pregnancies are avoided to begin with. Serious action to reduce instances of rape.

Reduce the cost to actually have the baby (it is ridiculously expensive if you don’t have Medicaid). Automatic maternity leave for at least six months. Free or extremely reduced cost childcare for when she does go back to work.

Why don’t you look at changing things that will both matter and not impose on another human being’s freedom?

I believe in personal responsibility. When do you think a womans right to choose to abort a healthy fetus should end? People who are pro abortion have difficulty answering that question.

Why don’t you have anything to say about the ideas for reducing abortion that don’t have to do with the govt controlling women’s bodies? It’s almost like you care more about people facing consequences for having sex than the fetus. Forced-birth extremists have difficulty here

A healthy, viable fetus is not aborted unless there’s a serious problem. So yea, medical emergencies demand that abortion be available then. Miscarriages can happen then, making women criminal suspects
