Congrats to @NOLACityCouncil, @mayorcantrell, Chief of @NOLAFireDept & all the others who've worked so hard to give these developers everything they want, over & over. The Carnival parades shouldn't avoid the hotel; they should all stop to toast it. A monument to New New Orleans.

On the video I originally saw of the collapse, you can very clearly see a guy on the side of the building running, tripping, and FALLING as the debris engulfs him on its way down. Smh.

Just went and searched “hard rock falling Nola” and it’s literally the first video that pops up. You can see him clear as day. 4th or 5th floor from the top. Almost positive this poor soul is the one you see in the video. The location matches up. So sad..

This information could be shared without the pics of this mans body circulating. It’s dehumanizing and disrespectful to his family!! Please consider it
-
I disagree. The brutality of the pictures showcases the greed behind all of this. We all knew there were dead bodies, but to see them, just left to rot in the daylight brings the message home. They don't care about us.

Out of respect for the victims, and their families- please take these pictures down.

Unfortunately the photo is the only reason this whole clusterfuck is finally getting the attention it deserves

the developers need to be put on trial for murder
-
The developers need to be in the rubble themselves.

This is my neighbor. My heart aches thinking about him being crushed to death. Seeing his body like this has to be devastating for his family. Lord have mercy.

This is horrifying! I'm so sorry for your loss
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends

I hope you all get the peace and justice that you so deserve! - 1 more reply
