2. On Tuesday, ThinkProgress published a list of corporations that were providing incentives and discounts to NRA members. We collected them all from the NRA website, contacted every company for comment. Then we published the names.https://thinkprogress.org/corporations-nra-f0d8074f2ca7/ …
3. Prior to this, there wasn't really an active discussion of the NRA's corporate partners. That's when a much larger group of folks took over. THOUSANDS of people began tweeting at the companies. For awhile, nothing happened. We waited.
On Wednesday, we noticed he website for the NRA Visa had been taken down. We called First National Bank for comment, heard nothing. We weren't sure what was going on, but we expected something was up. So we shared what we knew. Momentum was growing.https://goo.gl/vWRmPA
4. Then on Thursday, a breakthrough, First National Bank confirmed that they were dropping the NRA. It was a huge development.https://goo.gl/bDvwGP

6. To be clear, this happened not because of ThinkProgress but because of a rapidly changing political environment that has been created mostly by the students who survived the Parkland massacre. But ThinkProgress provided critical, factual information into that environment.
