The deeper that draft era gets into their careers and still continues to elevate their games and dominate the more I realize, personally, they really don’t make players like that anymore.

Imo, and biased as a Sabres fan, eichel reminds me more of malkin than any other player. Insanely strong and a full skill set. He doesn’t have the mean streak malkin has, though.

I agree. Both Crosby and Malkin are more complete players they OV. There also is something to be said for durability with OV though. It's almost a skill in its own right.
