It's Trump's fault the Capitol Police fucked up

"Since 2016, when Donald Trump was elected president, threats of violence against lawmakers recorded by U.S. Capitol Police have surged from roughly 900 cases in 2016 to 9,625 in 2021." washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/

President Biden: “Every single Democrat in the United States Congress voted for the Inflation Reduction Act. Not one single Republican voted for it in the House or the Senate.”

"...no joke, man. Joined an all-Black college back in 19-dickety-two. Nice Krampus ... campus. Cornpop U. Not hyperbole. I quarterbacked for the Fightin' Choo-Choos. Got the Heisenberg, Hefeweiz... you know, the thing. The trophy. C'mon, Jack..."

"It's great to be at Florida Memorial University, one of the nation's great HBCU's. I'm a big fan of HBCU's. I got my start at one of those other HBCU's: Delaware State University. OK, pretty good, man. Anyway." -- Pres. Biden

Did they actually clear out the homeless encampment at Union Station so Biden could get a do over on the red lights of doom speech? Yikes.

President Biden tonight at 7pm from Union Station will deliver remarks "on preserving and protecting our democracy." The speech, according to DNC advisory, "will address the threat of election deniers and those who seek to undermine faith in voting and democracy."

In his speech today, Biden: - Said Debbie Wasserman Schultz worked in the senate - Forgot what FEMA stands for - Forgot the name of Hurricane Ian - Said "the war in Iraq" is to blame for inflation - Claimed he met the man who discovered insulin - Busted out the southern accent

You can hardly walk through Union Station nowadays without being accosted by a crazy homeless drug addict so this is actually the perfect backdrop for the leader of the Democrat Party to address the country

WH says Biden will take part in a Democratic party event inside Union Station tonight. The party says his remarks will focus on "preserving and protecting our democracy," along with "the threat of election deniers ... and the stakes for our democracy in next week's election."

Union Station is ironically a backdrop of the issues Biden is not addressing in his closing speech. Economic decline, closed stores, crime, homeless encampments, a gas station with historically high prices, all in the literal center of the haughty Acela corridor.

wait didn't he do this like 6 weeks ago and he was bathed in blood and surrounded by the military and everyone just sort of laughed at him?

I’ve heard of spite voting, but Bill is pioneering spite voting by proxy. “Vote democrat so that I can get back at republicans.”

CNN has Rs ahead 51%-47% among likely voters, 47%-46% among registered voters. I'm not necessarily quarreling with the poll's judgment of who's now likely to vote. But every registered voter can still choose to vote in 2022. Perhaps Democrats should do so. s3.documentcloud.org/documents/2325

Doesn't Steve Bannon own a piece of that show?

.@loudmouthjulia has a great story in @PuckNews breaking down a title’s projected exclusive value vs. being sold off. But the most interesting tidbit is about Seinfeld, which is still killing it after all these years. puck.news/netflixs-seinf

Look - if all you’re doing is “resisting,” then all you’re doing is reacting. We have a future to prepare for. As jobs get automated, we have to fight for fair policies like Medicare for All to ensure that working people aren’t left behind.

Have you ever noticed, Bill, that every time you jump to a new team they start losing?
