It's 4chan, so who knows. If Avenatti triumphantly presents the evidence on CNN and MSNBC tonight, so be it.

Here's Avenatti's explanation for why he protected his account. I'm sure he'll be on every single network tonight to explain what happened.pic.twitter.com/kUpdvRXzz3

If this is true, and it really seems too wonderful to be true, I wonder how they'll handle it? Does CPL just go underground for a while, and
@ChrisCuomo et al. just pretend it never happened? That's what I'd go with, if I had no scruples either.Show this thread -
The more I think about this, the less plausible it seems. Which is one of the things that differentiates me from, say,
#BelieveSurvivors. Just because I want to believe something doesn't make it true.Show this thread -
So the 4chan thing was a prank. Which makes sense, because it's 4chan. I wonder why Avenatti locked his account, then? Just part of the show, probably.

Few things here... 1. Let it be true 1a. Let it be on tape 2. While fun and enjoyable if it takes Avenatti down a notch, 4chan is still a cesspool of awful on the whole so proceed with caution.

Just reporting the claim. That's how it works now, right?

And this, kids, is why you never screencap and share conspiracy theory posts you find on 4Chan.pic.twitter.com/1w3tWKSNuS
