My girlfriend told me to take the spider out instead of killing it. We went and had some drinks. Cool guy. Wants to be a web developer.

Ok this is a cool use case that actually could stick maybe. But on the other hand, Alexa is the best kitchen assistant because she’s hands free so maybe not till we have a consumer HMD that makes sense.

I think it’s hilarious that Joe Walsh said he didn’t realize he’d been duped until 3 am the next morning—though he did think he was describing some crazy thing going on in Israel, not America. But come on! It wasn’t even subtly implausible. It was such obviously fake material.

If you're a dev and have some spare cash, buy it right now. Otherwise, get a Go or wait for Santa Cruz. I suspect the same verdict applies to Vive Focus; without 6DoF controls and environment mapping the tracking features won't add enough value for consumers to justify the price.

Digest 175 is an AR-and-developer-focused issue. The AR segment is advancing amazingly fast. The real-world contextualization framework space is getting a bit crowded already, but devs need these tools badly.

Wrap your console.log arguments in an object literal to print the variable name along with its value. console.log(isLoggedIn) console.log({ isLoggedIn }) Still one of my favorite tips from . So simple but effective 💪
