    Granted I live in Half Moon Bay where drivers are less abundant, but isn't that precisely when "schedule a ride" is a necessary feature?

    Their FAQ sez "Uber actively monitors availability to ensure that a car will arrive". Is their algo different, or is this false advertising?

    In more "yay Uber!" news, their "schedule a ride" feature is apparently just "we'll try finding a driver then and see how it goes".
