Copilot is very tech demo at the moment, but it will only get better. But "better" will be DeepDream for code. Horrifying code. Code which looks reasonable at first glance and more more eldrich as you look at it. Basically you can start your project as a legacy enterprise stack.

But not *only* Rust - the great thing about Buck v2 (like v1) is that it supports unified dependency graphs across arbitrary languages, so you can compose one system out of Rust, C++, Python, ... where all the languages have equal footing as far as the build system goes.

Sure blockchains are still searching for a genuine problem to solve and NFTs are that problem de jour, but the most annoying thing to me is that fungibility is one of the true interesting technical properties of the tech. Without it you've just got Expensive Git.
