I’m leaving Netflix after seven years. Leaders have to be beyond reproach in the example we set and unfortunately I fell short of that standard when I was insensitive in speaking to my team about words that offend in comedy.

It’s NOT just “a couple of words” as Your deleted tweet suggests. Words hold emotion, words also hold & require boundaries. Even if in jest, you overstepped. And your colleagues used THEIR words to speak up. Be wise with your words- they’re something you can NEVER take back.
