Unfortunately, @Inc keeps publishing anti-PPT garbage from @Sales_Source. A recent post in which he rebuts critical comments (https://www.inc.com/geoffrey-james/powerpoint-has-its-defenders-but-theyre-wrong.html …) relies on the same crutch he always uses: "science says this and science says that." But he regularly gets it wrong.

Imho, your pyramid diagram would be more effective as an XY scatter plot, which more clearly illustrates the inverse relationship between audience and complexity
