    Hey anyone who ever presents from a Mac! In case you don’t yet know: you can option-click the notifications icon in your menu bar to turn off notifications That way you can turn em off w/o exposing your whole notifications bar during a preso, if you forgot

    So, let's say, 4 out of 10 is the desired outcome. A 4 might mean a higher decibel output in a loud room than a quiet one. Or a quiet video might need to be boosted, a loud sound effect softened.

    Volume controls on devices should be based on the "perceived" vs. intended volume. Could be a mix of the known levels of a given clip + the input of the device's mic.
