The official histories of Pope Benedict will focus on his writings & influence on the universal Church. They should also take note of the many, many people (myself included) who are Catholic today, at least in part, as a result of his profound thinking and writing. Rest in Peace.

Thanks to generous underwriters, Prof. Jonathan Hannah & his "Philanthropy & the Common Good" class awarded $75,000 to support five Michiana nonprofits. It was great to spend time with the students & meet leaders of nonprofits impacting our community in positive ways.
