We woke this morning to the shocking and tragic news of the passing of one of Australia’s greatest modern day cricketers. Hard for us all to comprehend. The loss of Shane Warne has shaken not only the cricketing world and those of us who watch but those who didn’t follow cricket

To be honest I was quite looking forward to the next two weeks of unbridled anger that Melburnians were about unleash on Djokovic. Best spectator sport of the whole summer.

The people of west and southwest Sydney are bearing the biggest burden in the current COVID-19 outbreak in NSW, with the highest caseload and tightest restrictions. But there is a bright spot - residents in these areas are showing up in huge numbers for vaccination. #abc730

We know the news has been a lot in the last few days, so take a minute out and make this a #ThankfulTuesday. Have a read of some of the emails we've received this week from hamper recipients. So far during lockdown we've distributed 35,513 hampers and we're not slowing down!!

For those asking, and many are, the ELLIOTT interview is NOT a parody. And it was refreshing, particularly calling Houston an “ungrateful twat.”! twitter.com/Peter_Fitz/sta…

Brilliant. has been an indomitable force for good in his community. If the NSW Government reached across the aisle more often, we would have much better outcomes.

Visited with Lakemba (LMA) pop up vax hub with @Sophiecotsis1 - close to 500 people in line not long after opening. Stories of people lining up from 7:30am. Community pop ups work- let’s get more and make them semi permanent. Important community partnership with @NSWHealth

Today at midday, let’s protest against yesterday’s ridiculous anti-lockdown protests by staying quietly in our homes and not punching any horses

Protestors in our city - total halfwits and just go home for the sake of all of us, you’re a disgrace and if you want the lockdown to end, you sure are going about it the wrong way !! Feel for being put in this position, feel free to throw the book at them

The question is, will you turn yourself in to the local police?
You are standing for the seat of Warringah.
You want to be one of those who make the laws.
Yet you demonstrate here you have zero respect for the law.
I repeat: will you turn yourself in?
Quote Tweet
The media is lying - this was the happiest protest imaginable.

Though we have political differences, @markcourelive and I regularly volunteer together @FoodbankNSWACT and today, like all the others, was a really good way to help others and ‘fill our cup’ at the same time.

Nothing will stop us doing our best to deliver food to people who are in need. We’ve been through drought, bushfires, COVID & now floods but the food must go to where it’s needed.
