Why not?

It’s drastic overkill for 90% of the things it’s used for. It’s mostly an over complication of the devops space. The time you spend manipulating and fighting with k8s is better spent differentiating your applications and business. When you need it, you’ll know.

I see this sentiment a lot on twitter and even from people who are currently working on a k8s platform at their company. I wonder why don't we just stop using it? is it because everyone else is and we need it for our resumes? or because it has no good replacement yet?
