My most used emojis are the facepalm and shrug and I really think that about sums up who I am.

Honestly though, I spent all that time playing music and if I could do it all over again, I’d still choose music. So, it feels weird not getting started earlier, but I’m still glad I spent all that time doing something I loved.

I did some simple VB6 assignments in school that were basically just following a book. I didn’t actually start learning to program until I was 22 or 23. I sometimes feel weird about not programming on a C64 when I was young or modding games or something.

My issue isn’t with Ford, it’s with the original aphorism that gets trotted out to over-inflate lone innovator ideas at the expense of condescendingly dismissing user experiences.

When the “Take On Me” chorus plays, is it just me, or does anyone else think he’s going to go through all the 3! permutations of these words?

Most of the gigs would be 80 hrs, and you’d never get to the songs you really needed to play.

all i'm saying is that if the workplace gym featured a "legends of the hidden temple" obstacle course, i would be a lot more inclined to exercise

I’m at this pizza joint and some firefighters walk in and order a pineapple and jalapeño pizza... is this a dare? What is going on?

I don’t know why I think about that or why it’s funny that someone had no idea who Joe Montana was, but to this day it still makes me laugh when I think about it.

I was at an empty bar with one other guy in it like 15 years ago when a big crowd walked in and went to a roped off area. I asked the bartender who it was and he said Joe Montana. The guy with me laughed real hard and said “What kind of made up name is that?”

I'm a recruiter from Heptio👋 & its been a great 1+ year! Are there plans to invest in enablement/training to help this along , across BU's? Flexible/remote work is a top priority for many, especially oss/k8s community folks. Thanks and 🙏ing 4 fast recovery!

Everyone should settle on a single framework for machine learning. Then they could call it Standard ML.

THIS! I have to write _way_ more docs than I do code on a whiteboard with a half-working marker, yet here we are. 🤷‍♂️
