    I prefer to think in terms of systems, so I see it as a cultural and economic issue. We don't know how to talk about this problem, and we're not putting resources into tackling it. It destroys me knowing what would have happened to me without privilege. It happens to others.

    I'm alive today because of privilege, full stop. I have a family who cares about and prioritizes my mental health and recognizes it as an issue and is willing to put their money into solving it. I can pinpoint exact moments in my life where they reeled me back in.

    I don't know how to approach the subject of suicidal ideation. Everything that can be said seems inadequate. It's something I still deal with sometimes, and I'm not even sure if admitting that is a good idea or not. But I do want to try to help someone if I can.
