On the US State Dept site, Modi features in the Religious Freedom report later years as well But more importantly, in 2005 a US Representative introduced a bill to condemn Modi. It is unusual for a state politician from a foreign country to get such attention in the US Congress

If the BBC Documentary is to be blocking, we may want to think about blocking the US Congressional records as well, since a number of documents publicly available, including a bill introduced in Congress, say roughly the same thing about Modi's role in the riots. A thread.

I once flew from Dakar to Bamako, I think Air Burkina, which has signs in Russian and Hindi. Before my Indian joy sank in fully, I figured it was an old Indian craft which was likely sold to India once it wasn't good enough for the Russians, then to Burkina Faso. So, Vayudoot.

Meal 6: sharing a very unique snack which I doubt is made anywhere else. In Bihar, it’s called bagiya. It’s made of ground rice flour with boiled chana daal stuffed inside these crescent-moon shaped appetisers. Very healthy, tastes incredible with freshly minted spinach chutney.
