I always tweet my wife's one liners OK so Audi is giving$ away to academies for each mls goal right? "No wonder the academies are failing, they are not getting any money because these guys can't score." 🤣🤣

Just reread THE SELFISH GENE Now convinced all play is just a variation of prisoners dilemma. Kids play with the game of 'cooperate or compete' over and over and over at sometime micro levels. Is it a coincidence that "nice" strategies win out more often?

Eli Just (New Zealand National Team) and Dalton Wilkins (New Zealand U-20 NT) were a HUGE part of our promotion to the Danish 1st Division. Props to my friends for developing some top class kids 👊

it is not the theoretical framework in youth soccer. it is the platform. until we address it, theoretical frameworks can say all the right things along with its good intention and it will take us nowhere!

“only Messi has figured out how to win matches by moving less than everyone else.” The secret is not speed, it’s how to complete the task easier and easier—that means slower, less effort ://53eig.ht/2t4eROk

When you complain about the condition of the place you practice/train, consider how much better and more adaptable your skills could become if you focused on overcoming the issue, adapting to the setting and staying on the task at hand. ⬇️👍🏻

Atta way. THe reason so many “Side entrants” are over represented at the highest levels is that they are doing this rather than practicing in an academy. Somehow this training prepares the player in a better way

My father used to play with my brother and me in the yard. Mother would come out and say, ‘You’re tearing up the grass.’ ‘We’re not raising grass,’ Dad would reply. ‘We’re raising boys.’

Holy cow, amazing from Larionov "why are they pushing them to play a simple game? Why aren’t coaches pushing them to create a masterpiece?"
