Very sad to hear of the death of Hector Macmillan, author of The Sash. His work in the 70’s was foundational to the wave of Scottish playwriting in the years after. He adapted Moliere into Scots for The Lyceum. A lovely man, a nurturer of colleagues. He will be much missed.
