You can get most of the institutional reverse engineering knowledge from the above and more, you just won't have the GREM certificate. BUT, if the time comes that you need the cert, it is only $1,999 to take the test, with two practice tests. https://www.giac.org/registration/cert-attempt …

For me, taking FOR610 the way I did was well worth it. I thrive in a structured education environment like SANS (see: Practical Malware Analysis has been sitting on my desk since 2017) but I understand it isn't for everyone, and that's ok! Keep learning, friends.
