During the boom, this town was so busy that delivery trucks created daily traffic jams. Factories couldn't find enough workers and paid double. A residential high rise went up to money sloshed around. “They came very quickly,” said one guy who starting a biz painting bike frames.

What a waste
I was thinking this. Now the trick would be to get the Chinese to pay you to remove them, and then pay the people who once made them to pack them into crates for shipping...
But I think that in every down, you've a way up.. Why not try to take it to poor places in Africa (Very low low price).. Kids could use them to get to school or pick water any place..
