We think the people should have the final say on the detail of the deal once it is negotiated.

If you look at the sub-heading and story you'll see it is exactly what I said in my tweet. Headline not quite as accurate.

The referendum would be on the deal - up to voters to decide whether it is sufficient

Sorry Jo. Can't forgive your party for getting into bed with Tories in 2010. Imagine if you'd let them govern in minority. Just imagine.
-
No need to imagine - the last 2 years show what would have happened.
-
Surely a minority government would have had to beg for votes on every single issue. All power is in opposition hands.
-
Or in 2010, in hands of PM to call GE and get majority (as only party with full coffers)...

How will pro-UK, pro-EU work? Cos WM has ensured we can't be both. And what about all the LD U-turns? How could we trust you on anything?
-
This is an election - all to play for to change course. Yes we made some mistakes & took.responsibility. What party has never u-turned?
-
You mean you broke every promise. Now you're standing on an impossible ticket - how could anyone vote for LD again?
-
Shall I put you down as a 'maybe'?
