We needed a gormless patsy to soak up the horror of the last three years while the Tories ate themselves. She stepped up to play that role with appropriate incompetence and shameless persistence. We can thank her for that. Maybe.

Her legacy will be go home vans, rhetoric such as "if you believe you're a citizen of the world, you're a citizen of nowhere", Windrush, Grenfell, Snoopers Charter, attempts to scrap the human rights act and obviously the shitshow of Brexit. There is nothing to thank her for.
