IMO, Hill Street Blues was one of the best TV shows of all time. RIP Steven Bochco! #LetsBeSafeOutThere
Absolutely one of the biggest influences on Buffy (and me) was HILL STREET BLUES. Complex,unpredictable and unfailingly humane. Steven Bochco changed television, more than once. He’s a legend. All love to his family, R.I.P., and thank you.

HILL STREET BLUES was incredible. It was the beginning of appointment TV for me. I see the HST fingerprints when I watch BUFFY. Absolutely two of my favorite television shows.

Steven bochco was a game changer, he wasnt afraid to take risks and push the envelope. Even his failures, such as cop rock are to be admired. Better to try and fail then never to have tried at all. He will be missed

LA Law, NYPD Blue...Steven Bochco had an immensely skilled eye for identifying talent and putting the right peices together. Well, maybe except for Cop Rock, but he seemed to have a sense of humor about that one. Just an amazingly innovative man.
