1/ It's sometimes overwhelming to know that it might be the last time you meet with someone, because it is likely that either I am, or they are, arrested under this law. Hours after @JimmyLaiApple Lai was arrested, @chowtingagnes was arrested, for violating national security law.
2/ Before she is arrested, she said she had been tailed by unknown personnel for days. I fear that other dissenting voices will also face this kind of surveillance, harassment and persecution. It is indeed frightening.
3/ What we are facing is the strongest dictatorship in our times, it seems impossible to fight back. Yet, in the face of this dark time of censorship, our resistance is unflagging. In history we have seen, democracy and freedom always prevails. Hongkongers will fight on.
