Now all public gatherings are heavily restricted by #Hkpolice, let alone demonstrations and protests. Even the #tiananmensquare vigils were banned and organizers arrested. But I think, at this critical moment, especially when the city is under the threat from the security sector,
peaceful protests become more vital to show the people's spirit of resistance when the law is unjust.
Just like the Be water spirit of #HKprotests last year, protests can continue in various forms. It can be online mobilizations like #AnimalCrossing protests,
singing protests or even boycotting pro-#Beijing shops. but the point is we cannot let the city's soul enslaved when injustice becomes ordinary. People should be the owner of the place we live in.
