1/ The Chinese embassy's speech reveals the evilest part of the national security law that the law is so loosely drawn that all speech can be easily framed as a crime. While Beijing & HK claim there will be no speech crime, the Chinese embassy exactly reveals the shocking truths.
2/ Individuals, companies and NGO institutions can be freely framed as "colluding with external forces" for any speech, participation, interviews, or even just a "like" on social media accounts. That's the reason why so many human rights defenders were put into jail in China.
3/ The law is clearly a deathblow to the city's liberties, a backlash to the world's freedoms, & a nightmare to both civil society & business communities in this global business centre. Therefore, I hope the world can stand with HK & call for the withdrawal of this sweeping law.
