2/ At about 8PM, we and our friends discovered a white-coloured car parked in the San Po Kong area. There was something suspicious about it. Three hours later, after we left our meeting, we found out that we were each being tailed by a group of four. So, we confronted them.
3/ The people who were snooping on us immediately raised a racket, loudly accusing us of trying to rob them. Finally, they hightailed their way to a taxi & took off, defeated. We noticed that our stalkers, in previous occasions, were all picked up by the same white-coloured car.
4/ But since we exposed our stalkers, the white car did not even bother to wait—it simply sped off by itself. Stalking, taking pictures, testing limits, and exchanging covert information: all of these tactics are from the national security units’ playbook.
5/ Maybe this happens all the time in Mainland China, but HK is supposed to be different. After all, the national security law still hasn’t been passed. So why are activists & councillors being monitored every single day?
6/ Political surveillance with chilling effect, sadly, has become the new reality in HK. Everyone, please take care. Do not go out alone. Stay safe.
Stsy safe Always be on the LOOKOUT FOR THE WHITE CAR and try to get as much information on the white car as you can such as license plate # make and model and information on occupants or get a picture or video of car
@SolomonYue @benedictrogers Everyone knows all security guard co. are related to the ex-cop, they've a good relationship with the #HKPF. Before the Natl Security Law passed later in the LegCo, I'm not surprised the security guard co. is doing the dirty job 4 CCP. 2/2
