2/ HKGov continues to indulge itself in its world of make-believe that “everyone misunderstands the HK Gov”. The view that HK’s deep-rooted, longstanding socio-political crisis could be defused and resolved by the means of public relations is evidently impractical and naïve.

3/ Gov communications tactics to confound right & wrong and to hide the truth with lies have been growing increasingly unpopular. HK’s international standing & image, as well as HK effectiveness in containing the spread of the coronavirus are fruits of the efforts of all HKers.

4/ HK’s political stability underpins the investment and business environment. Gov routine attitude to neglect popular opinions & to shift blame away from itself has been a constant throughout protest & pandemic, such practice is prima facie detrimental to its positive image.
