5/ More importantly, we have to face the fact that our limited mask stocks can’t support an endless battle. Masks for medics can only last for 1 month, while some only have 5-day stocks. Though working in a highly contagious environment, each nurse can only use 2 masks a day.
6/ Worse still, their inflection or deaths won’t be coved by insurance if they use any donated or self-prepared masks. Therefore, the demand for border shutdown is not a question of us & them, but a matter of life & death.
