3/ Ironically the Magistrate (same judge) allowed my travel to Taiwan, Germany and the US in September. But she refused to grant travel two months later, citing the testimony and hearings in France, Brussels, Berlin, London and Paris are not important. (!?)
4/ Following court decision, it's clear now I'm deprived of the right to election, freedom of movement, freedom of assembly (not allowed to appear on designated are), and freedom of speech. The civil liberties guaranteed in the constitution are however no longer applicable to me.
5/ I would not want to speculate on the 'political decision' of court in denying my travel application, but it is clear that the judiciary is under huge pressure since the political crisis.
6/ After a victory at High Court for the protesters regarding the unconstitutionality of the Face Mask Ban, Beijing now issued a statement saying High Court is not qualified to decide on the constitutionality of HK's city legislation. 1Country2Systems is on the brink of collapse.
7/ The protests in Hong Kong have been going on for six months now. Noting that China has intervened on many fronts already. Beijing claims that they have the ultimate authority to interpret the laws. The intervention happens long ago.
8/ The current political crisis is also heavily influenced by the China factor. PLA troops, not only ready to be deployed, they have actually deployed soldiers with an excuse to 'clear the barricades' of the streets.
9/ It is important to voice to the global community - an attempt to coerce China's aggressive behavior using international pressure. Looking into China's socio-economic aggression in many Belt-and-Road countries, I think Europe should stay vigilant to what happened in Hong Kong.
10/ Europe should stay alert to the reliance on Chinese economic interests. There's no free lunch in the world! Apart from condemning hardline crackdown in HK is not enough, European countries should reconsider economic deals with a ruthless regime that never play by the rules.
11/ Similar legislative initiatives like the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act should be executed in Italy to stop further human rights violations. the HK Police vehicles and other weapons using against the people of HK should be banned.
Prepare for reaction to the elections. This is next critical time. Never surrender. Stay calm and carry on.
