1/ Today, HKGov is reportedly considering to introduce emergency regulation. The first thing to go is enacting the anti-mask law through Emergency Regulation Ordinance (ERO). It's the first time the law has been used in crackdowns of protests since the communist riot in 1967.

4/ The use of martial law proves HKGov's inaction over upholding basic freedoms under the “one country two systems” framework. The law mourns the further falling of Hong Kong into "one country one system" where people's cause for democracy is crashed down by force and fear.

5/ All in all, a political solution is the only cure for today's political predicament. Once HKers have set off on our quest for democracy in the past four months, there's no way to turn the clock back with hardline crackdowns. Our call for democracy must be answered NOW.

Detention without trial is not acceptable. It is prevalence in some ASEAN country, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam. HK should not allow for such thing to happen. 'due process' is the basic democracy principles also a human rights.
